The family room lives in me as a sanctuary of wisdom, a place where hard work was shielded by divine protection and my parents wrapped me in God’s grace.
Now, I stand grown. Life calls me to be my brother’s keeper. Responsibility awaits… and I pray it aligns with God’s will.
This second chapter in the series explores the coming of age of a child raised in a Ghanaian Christian home. The imagery evokes the nostalgia of childhood vivid colors, sacred objects, and the quiet strength of prayers once whispered for protection. But now, that child stands alone, grown and ready to carry their own weight. The juxtaposition of vibrant religious symbolism and the somber expression of our models reflects the tension of inheritance: the beauty and the burden of being the next generation.
